Shortest and Longest Lifespans

The following are Top-10 lists of the shortest and longest lifespans for those philosophers indexed by EL that have birth and death years in the database (those with at least one vague or questionable "circa" or "flourishing" dates are excluded from these lists). Please note: the lifespan figures were calculated by simply subtracting the birth year from the death year–not by using exact dates. Hence it is possible that a person might have a lifespan figure of 42, but not actually have reached their 42nd birthday they died.
