Custom Search Engines for PhilosophyStarting in early 2007, EpistemeLinks now provides several Custom Search Engines. Each of these makes use of the Google Co-Op program, which is still in Beta -- so you should consider these features of EpistemeLinks to be in "Beta testing" as well. Having said that, I think you will find these Custom Search Engines to be quite useful! Note also that these custom search engines are also available for your use -- on your personal or departmental websites -- as Google Gadgets. Give them a try! Search the Contents of the SEP and IEPThis custom search engine searches the contents of the 1,200+ entries from the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy (SEP) and the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy (IEP). This version includes entries from the SEP and IEP, but also includes hand-picked philosophy-related entries at other encyclopedias, such as Wikipedia, Encarta, and more -- over 2,700 entries in all. Search the Contents of the E-Texts in this SectionThis custom search engine allows you to search the contents of 2,100+ philosophy e-texts. (These are the texts linked in the E-Texts section at EpistemeLinks.) Search the Content of these BlogsThis custom search engine allows you to search the contents of the 170+ blogs included in the Philosophy Blogs section at EpistemeLinks. |
