Collaboration at EpistemeLinks

Starting in August 2006, EpistemeLinks began some collaborative efforts to further grow the website. Although we are starting slowly, these initial steps will likely grow in the future. So if you are a philosophy professor or graduate student and are interested in working on EpistemeLinks in some way, on a volunteer basis, I encourage you to send an email to elcadmin at epistemelinks.com. See below for the current ways that people are collaborating to make EpistemeLinks a more valuable website.

EpistemeLinks Editors

Starting in August 2006, EpistemeLinks began an "Editors" program. The purpose of this program is to involve volunteer subject matter experts in the EpistemeLinks project, in their areas of specialty in philosophy. This is starting as a small, informal program, but one that we hope will be a success and will grow in the future. Individuals serving as Editors for specific philosopher or topic sections are by invitation only at this time, and thus far include:

  • Epistemology: Keith Korcz, University of Louisiana, Lafayette (PhD, Philosophy, Ohio State University)
  • Critical Thinking: Dôna Warren, University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point (PhD, Philosophy, University of Minnesota)

Editors for link-category sections are open and thus far include:

  • Audio and Video Section: Berel Dov Lerner, Western Galilee College (PhD, Philosophy, Tel Aviv University)
  • Events Section: Vicky Roupa, PhD candidate in Philosophy, University of Sussex
  • Events Section: Nadia Mahjouri, PhD candidate in Philosophy, University of Tasmania

EpistemeLinks Contributors

There are other ways that people can contribute time and effort to improving the EpistemeLinks website.

The following volunteers (most of whom are faculty or graduate students in philosophy) have helped by providing one or more philosopher or topic summary write-ups, which are displayed near the top on each page for that philosopher/topic at EpistemeLinks. These individuals thus far include:

  • Russ Dumke
  • Ellen Fridland
  • Elisabeth Herschbach (numerous)
  • Jeremy Keymer
  • Basileios Kroustallis
  • Marilynn Lawrence
  • Maud Le Garzic
  • Justin Moss
  • Robert L. Muhlnickel
  • Duncan Richter

Much thanks to all the editors and contributors!
