Agriculture and Human Values

Description: Journal of the Agriculture, Food, and Human Values Society. The journal seeks to create
educational and scholarly junctures among the humanities, the social sciences, food and
nutrition studies, and the agricultural disciplines, and to promote an ethical, social,
and biological understanding of agriculture. Contributions on a broad range of topics
relating to the main theme are welcome. They should be addressed to a general academic
readership while maintaining high standards of scholarship.

Environmental Politics
Publisher: Taylor and Francis
Description: "Environmental Politics is concerned with four particular aspects of the study of environmental politics, with a primary, though not exclusive, focus on the industralised countries. First, it examines the evolution of environmental movements and parties. Second, it provides analysis of the making and implementation of public policy in the area of the environment at international, national and local levels. Third, it carries comment on ideas generated by the various environmental movements and organisations, and by individual theorists. Fourth, it aims to cover the international environmental issues which are of increasing salience. Its coverage of the developing world does not reach beyond this to the affairs of individual countries, partly because of the journal's chosen focus and partly because of the number of existing journals dealing with development. Environmental Politics is sensitive to the distinction between goals of conservation and of a radical reordering of political and social preferences, and aims to explore the interface between these goals, rather than to favour any one position in contemporary debates."
Environmental Values
Description: Environmental Values is concerned with the basis and justification of
environmental policy. It aims to bring together contributions from philosophy, law,
economics and other disciplines, which relate to the present and future environment of
humans and other species; and to clarify the relationship between practical policy issues
and more fundamental underlying principles or assumptions.

Ethics in Science and Environmental Politics
Description: "ESEP provides a global stage for presenting, discussing and developing
the new ethical constructs of eco-ethics and econ-ethics — their bearing
on science and politics, and their significance for the future
development of nature and humanity."
Ethics, Place and Environment
Publisher: Taylor and Francis
Description: The central aim of Ethics, Place and Environment is to provide a forum for the publication
of research and scholarship on all aspects of geographical and environmental ethics. The
use of the word 'place' highlights geographers' concerns with the
interaction between peoples and environments that creates particular places.
'Environment' is used in a very broad sense to emphasise not only physical and
biological environments, but also social and cultural environments. Geographers working on
ethical issues have been concerned with a wide range of subjects, from animal rights, to
questions of justice in urban society, development ethics, cartography, and the
construction of cultural values.
