academic articles from throughout the world which contribute to current developments in
Women's Studies and feminist research. This includes feminist scholarship and

Critical Social Policy
Social Policy: A Journal of Theory and Practice in Social Welfare

Cultural Critique
Description: Since its first issue, Cultural Critique has brought together some of the most
important work in the field of cultural analysis. Perhaps no other journal investigates
cultural interpretation from such a broad perspective and from such an international point
of view. The journal takes an interdisciplinary approach to cultural criticism, covering
literary, philosophical, anthropological, and sociological studies and using Marxist,
feminist, psychoanalytic, and post-structural methods. It draws on a large group of
international corresponding editors to gather articles that examine interllectual
controversies, trends, and movements in various parts of the world.
Differences: Journal of Feminist Cultural Studies

Description: Differences focuses on how concepts and categories of difference - notably but
not exclusively gender - operate within culture. Situated at the point of intersection of
cultural studies and feminism, differences is affiliated with the Pembroke Center for
Teaching and Research on Women at Brown University. It is published three times a year.
Ethics and the Environment

Description: Ethics and the Environment is a new, interdisciplinary forum for theoretical and
practical articles, discussions, reviews, comments, and book reviews in the broad area
encompassed by environmental ethics. Supported by the Humanities Centre, the Philosophy
Department, and the Environmental Ethics Certificate Program at the University of Georgia,
and edited by Victoria Davion, Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy, the
journal will focus on conceptual approaches in ethical theory and ecological philosophy,
including deep ecology and ecological feminism as they pertain to environmental issues
such as environmental education and management, ecological economics, and ecosystem
health.

roots in the Society for Women in Philosophy, many of whose members have for years
