Aporia
Description: Aporia is published once a year by the Department of Philosophy at Brigham Young
University and is dedicated to recognising exemplary philosophical work at the
undergradute level. Each year, the winning essays of the annual David H. Yarn
Philosophical Essay Competition are published along with other outstanding undergraduate
philosophical essays. The winners of the Yarn Competition are selected by a faculty
committee independent of the student editors and staff. While the Yarn Competition is open
only to BYU students, Aporia welcomes submissions from all undergraduate students.
Aurora
Description: "Aurora is the online postgraduate journal of philosophy at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. The aim of the journal is to publish high quality papers by philosophers starting their career. In so doing, the journal promotes serious academic work within the international postgraduate community. Work by postgraduate students in any area of philosophy is welcome and papers submitted will be reviewed by faculty members of the Graduate Center."
Auslegung: A Journal of Philosophy
Description: Auslegung is the graduate students internationally circulating journal of
philosophy. Auslegung is intended as a forum for the expression of any and all scholarly
philosophical perspectives, and publishes articles, critical notices, and book reviews.
Canadian Undergraduate Journal of Cognitive Science
Description: "The Canadian Undergraduate Journal of Cognitive Science is an electronic journal published by the Cognitive Science Student Association at Simon Fraser University. Our aim is to provide a forum for students to share work amongst peers and gain valuable experience in the process of getting an academic paper published. As a publication, CUJCS will provide a unique reference for students, showcasing research by other undergraduate students, improving the contact and exchange of ideas between Canadian students and cognitive scientists alike, and illustrating the interdiscplinary work that is the hallmark of cognitive science everywhere."
Carleton University Student Journal of Philosophy
Description: The Carleton University Student Journal of Philosophy is a free journal
containing articles written on a wide variety of philosophical topics by graduate and
undergraduate students studying at any university. Papers are refereed by faculty members
in the Philosophy Department at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. Edited by fourth-year
honours and graduate students at Carleton University, the Journal was published for 25
years in paper format and is now an exclusively electronic publication.

Eidos: The Canadian Graduate Journal of Philosophy
Description: Eidos has been published by students at the University of Waterloo since July,
1978. From its inception it has been devoted to providing a forum for academic discussion
on philosophical themes to graduate students in Canada and abroad.
Ephemeris
Description: "Ephemeris is an undergraduate journal of philosophy published out of Union College. 2003-2004 is its fifth year of publication. The purpose of Ephemerisis to harvest exceptional undergraduate writing grounded in the distinct value and interest of philosophical endeavors. We want to show our undergraduate work in philosophy to the local community of the Capital Region. Ephemeris is available free of charge throughtout the Union College community, and at many academic institutions in the area."

Ergon: Graduate Student Journal of Philosophy
Description: "Ergon is an online graduate student journal of philosophy at the University of South Carolina. We accept submissions from any active graduate student without a doctorate. Ergon is committed to providing a forum for graduate student work in all areas of philosophy. Each issue will focus on a particular philosophical area or problem by providing a sampling of graduate student work in that area, along with an introduction relating to the theme of the issue."
Gadfly: A Journal of Irony and Social Criticism
Description: "The Gadfly is published biannually (once each semester) and is run entirely by students (undergraduate and graduate) who have an interest in philosophy. The journal was named after Socrates, the original gadfly, and its purpose is to provoke thought out of its readers by employing irony, satire, or social criticism. Articles are solicited exclusively for Gadfly purposes. It is the goal of the writing staff to provide original, witty material that will reach a broad audience of students and faculty on campus. It is sponsored by the Department of Philosophy & Religion at Western Carolina University."

Gnosis
Description: "Gnosis is a journal of philosophy published by students under the auspices of the Department of Philosophy of Concordia University. Most authors are graduate students, but submissions by undergraduates are welcomed. GNOSIS was founded in 1973 and provides student work with exposure it may not otherwise receive."
Interlocutor: Sewanee Undergraduate Philosophical Review

Kinesis: Graduate Journal in Philosophy
Description: Kinesis occupies a unique position among scholarly journals in that it is one of
the few journals in the world which is run entirely by and for graduate students. Always
the highest levels of scholarship are strived for, and we continue to hold the goal of

Le Tract
Description: "Le Tract is a french journal published by undergraduates and graduates student
in philosophy at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (Canada). We print
short texts on various topic. All the text are avalible online. The web site
also contain a discussion board, and replies to articles."
London Journal of Philosophy
Description: Student of the University College London Philosophy department produce a yearly journal which has been in print since 2003.
Lyceum
Description: "The LYCEUM is a journal of philosophy concentrating in traditional problems in metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, and the history of philosophy. The LYCEUM publishes professional articles accessible to both professional and undergraduate audiences, as well as a small number of articles by undergraduates per issue."
Philosophical Writings
Description: Philosophical Writings is an international journal, based at the
University of Durham, UK, but with no commitment to any particular
school or branch of philosophy. Our remit is twofold: to encourage
innovative or unusual ways of presenting philosophical ideas - including
dialogue, verse, types of fiction, diagram; secondly, to provide a
channel for the publication of work by postgraduates and new academics.
We welcome submissions from established academics, and aim to orientate
such pieces for the interest of our readers by including a profile of
personal influences and interests.

Pittsburgh Undergraduate Review

Description: "Prolegomena is an online philosophy journal for undergraduate students published at the University of British Columbia. The first issue was published in June 2000. Papers selected cover a wide range of philosophical topics; reflected in the name Prolegomena is the notion that papers submitted will be prologues to future careers in philosophy.
