University and College Departments

In this section you will find links to over 1,200 University and College Departments of Philosophy. You can search them by name, or by location. Philosophy inclusive departments are included (e.g., Philosophy and Religion, Philosophy and English, General Humanities, and so on). To submit a philosophy department's homepage for inclusion in this section, please use the appropriate Web form.

New as of November 2006: The layout of the results for this section have been improved to not only link to the departmental homepage, but also list the location of the school and indicate highest degree offered in philosophy. At this time, only graduate degrees are listed (i.e., MA and PhD). Also, this data is incomplete: data was initially only gathered for schools in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Over time I hope to add similar information for schools in all other countries.
