EpistemeLinks Presentations and Demonstrations

As of late December 2006, EpistemeLinks is pleased to provide the following multimedia overview presentation. This presentation is 15-minutes in length, and describes the overall EpistemeLinks project, and includes two demos of the features of the site (the demos can also be viewed separately). This presentation, including the two demos, is intended for anyone who is new to the site. It can also be used in classrooms to introduce students to the EpistemeLinks resource.

Requirements:

1. These materials use Flash, a common web browser plug-in. You probably already have it installed, but if you do not, then visit the Adobe website to download and install the Flash player plugin.
2. Further, to reliably view these materials, you need to have a broadband (fast) Internet connection, such as a cable connection, DSL, or corporate T1 line. These presentations were not intended to be viewed over older dial-up (56K) style connections.
3. And lastly, it is recommended that you view these materials on the largest monitor that you have, and with your browser window maximized. The presentation will scale to various sizes, but it is best viewed at a larger monitor size.
